Hollow Piers

Hollow Piers

Hollow Piers

(OP)
I am making a cost comparison for a 200' tall pier with both solid and hollow columns, using LRFD.  The pier has a single column, with a hammerhead cap.  The column is 6'-0" x 30'-0" at the bottom of cap, and tapers transversely at 1:48 to 14'-4" x 30'-0" at the top of footing.
I am using LEAP's "RC Pier-LA" program for the solid pier design, but it is not able to do a hollow-pier design.  Is there any software available that can design a hollow-shaft pier?
Also, the LRFD Code offers only limited guidance for hollow pier design.  Are there any publications that specifically address the design of hollow piers and/or have example designs?
