Compact toolbar within a custom toolbar

Compact toolbar within a custom toolbar

(OP)
Hello All,

I am trying to create a compact tool bar with a custom toolbar.

What I mean by a compact toolbar is; in v5 there are a number of icons that have a small black triangle in the bottom right hand, which when clicked present you with another toolbar with futher icon options

The thread below asked the same questions a couple of years ago, but was never answered.

Another option would be to have a tools palette toolbar that pops up.

Is it possible to create your own version of either of these things?

Thanks for looking and appreciate any replies.

RE: Compact toolbar within a custom toolbar

Not directly in CATIA, but you can do something in vb6 or higher (a custom toolbar which can launch specific macros or commands - if you want).

Regards
Fernando
