Manufacturing - Adding the part

Manufacturing - Adding the part

Manufacturing - Adding the part

(OP)
Dear Pro\E fans,

I've got a very ridiculous problem. When I create new manufacturing the first step to do is adding a reference model. When I do this Pro\E always complains that my part is 'Not Fully Constrained'. I know what that means, but there is no solution to make him fully constrained. I get the usual tutorial above with the options 'mate, align, etc' but how much I try, he can't constrain (on the other hand, I think it's not possible to constrain a part without anything else).

I would be very thankful for a solution!

Best regards,

Pieter

I forgot to tell, maybe it's not important, but I use Pro\E WF5.0

You can constrain the part datums to the assembly datums.

You don't need to constrain it at all, though.

Looslib: it doesn't seem to work at all. I added a screenshot to be more clear.

Thanks,

Pieter
