Controlling 110/120V with a 3V signal? Possible?
Controlling 110/120V with a 3V signal? Possible?
(OP)
I know its an odd question... but is it possible and if so how could you turn off/on the power from a normal wall outlet by using a 3v signal (2 AAA batteries)? It would be a push button that supplies the 2-3volt off/on signal.
Thank you
Thank you

If it is broken, fix it. If it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

I'm going to use one tonight to arrange a Halloween pumpkin... Control a light bulb in the pumpkin with the SSR, and trigger it by paralleling a public address speaker output with the SSR input. The light 'talks' with the voice, and scares the heck out of the trick or treaters.
