Cantilevered Crane Loading Platforms - Design Guidance

Hey all,

Does anyone have any references eg state legislation, Australian standards, workcover etc that I should be aware of when designing CCLPS?

I've found this one

http://www.worksafe.vic.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/wsinternet/worksafe/home/forms+and+publications/guidance+notes/import_cantilevered+crane+loading+platforms+-+design+and+installation

but the CCLP will never be used in Vic so it's not really applicable.

Thanks,
Paul

Soooo no scaffold designers/inspectors out there? Anybody?

RE: Cantilevered Crane Loading Platforms - Design Guidance

If you can't find advice elsewhere, why not use the Victorian standard,  along with a good dose of engineering judgment?  The problem wouldn't differ across state lines.

I am using it it's the only guide I could find. I'm a little unsure about what dynamic factor to use and if there are any other issues I should be aware of.
