hidden line hatching / hatch style

hidden line hatching / hatch style

hidden line hatching / hatch style

(OP)
Why ????
I have section view in NX5 or Nx7.5.1 edited the hatch style, type lead distance 3mm angle 45  everything looks fine - crosshatched. Editing the style activate the hidden line hatching(cleaner hatching display) the hatch style lead is not displayed anymore switched to standard hatching -  ... try it is easy to dublicate

RE: hidden line hatching / hatch style

try going into the view:
style > section > toggle "assembly crosshatching"

Then do what you want to do

RE: hidden line hatching / hatch style

(OP)
can you explain why ? has nothing to do with assembly crosshatching, btw doesn't work either, hidden line hatching is controlling the hatch style

RE: hidden line hatching / hatch style

Any section view created on a Drawing will utilize the so-called 'Assembly Hatching' if that option is toggled ON (when making a Drawing, the system does not care or even KNOW whether the model being drafted is an Assembly or a Piece part).
