Extracting Flow Velocity / Acceleration in Output

Extracting Flow Velocity / Acceleration in Output

Regarding ABAQUS / AQUA, I am doing static analysis for a subsea pipeline,

Question: how can I get flow velocity / acceleration on the pipeline in the output (*.dat)?

RE: Extracting Flow Velocity / Acceleration in Output

Dear atedionyahoo,

Take a look at the section named "vibration and acoustic quantities" in 4.2.1. of the ABAQUS Analysis User's Manual. Unfortunaltely these results are not written to the .dat file.

The particle acceleration can be evaluated by appropriate differentiation of the particle velocity (in the time or the frequency domain).

I hope I helped you.

Best regards,

George Papazafeiropoulos
