SAVE ASSEMBLY

SAVE ASSEMBLY

SAVE ASSEMBLY

(OP)
hi

How to save assembly to a file and load it as one part?

thanks

RE: SAVE ASSEMBLY

Are you trying to merge the solid components of your assembly into a single solid mass?
Promote the bodies and then unite them is one way.

RE: SAVE ASSEMBLY

Or export a iges/step/parasolid. NX will automaticly create a *.prt file for it, one disadvantage; you will have a seperate bodies for each part but you can tackle this by grouping the bodies in the new part file.
