Exporting IGES parts as STL

Exporting IGES parts as STL

Exporting IGES parts as STL

(OP)
I'm running NX V6.0
I imported an IGES part from an old V2.0 unigraphics file.
It consists of 3 files.
A face, curve and model .igs
Once I can see the entire part, I'd like to
export as a single STL file.

Can someone explain why the software keeps asking for
a name at the very end of the save sequence with the
continue button greyed out no matter what name I use?
Perhaps it's the President of Siemens.
Anyone know his name?

RE: Exporting IGES parts as STL

Firstly, It's been a while since I've used NX, so my approach might be off due to changes that have been made to NX in the past year.

What does the cue/status line read at that point (when you can't select continue)?  Have you tried selecting the object(s) you want to export, as some translators ran during an NX session (from the NX interface, not the standalone translators) require you to select the objects you want to export rather than assuming you want to export the entire file.

Check those out and respond at your convenience.
