Beginner Assembly Issue

Beginner Assembly Issue

Beginner Assembly Issue

(OP)
I'm having a bit of a dilemma trying to do some basic assembly. The picture shows what I'd like to see (part gets outline when I drag my cursor over it), but right now I have to click and select to see what I'm selecting instead of having the mouseover preview.

Also, once I select one face, I have to select the second one is some crazy wireframe mode rather than seeing surfaces.

Any ideas on what settings I should change? Can provide screenshots if needed.

RE: Beginner Assembly Issue

There is a pro config command that pre-selects and highlights features and geometry.

It is usually turned on, but for reasons unknown to me, sometimes it turns itself off.

With the pre-select highlight off, you do not know what you are selecting. The wireframe you can see is another part in the assembly that you have selected.

Search in the config for the prehighligh command and set it to ON.
