HELP- SW Custom Standard and Custom Holes
(OP)
I am trying to add custom holes to the hole wizard in SW2010.
To do that as I understand I need to create a new standard and then add hole wizard features. To create a new standard I must copy an existing one over to base a new one of off.
The problem is I can find the "copy standard" button that the help file instructs me to use.

RE: HELP- SW Custom Standard and Custom Holes
Nothing on you tube pertaining to custom standards unfortunately.
CorBlimeyLimey,
Actually 2010 is very different, my window looks very different from that video if you take a look at the linked screen shot above. I still cant locate that damn "copy standard" button.
RE: HELP- SW Custom Standard and Custom Holes
See attached screenshot. The Copy Standard button is the Folder icon in the top LH corner of the main screen area.
RE: HELP- SW Custom Standard and Custom Holes
My window looks almost like yours but not exactly. I don't have those check boxes under every item inside a standard and that copy standard button up top is missing too :(
Do you have 2010? Maybe my installation is messed up?

RE: HELP- SW Custom Standard and Custom Holes
You need to select the 1 - Select Hardware section first (see the image I posted), and then select a hardware type. The Copy Standard option should then appear.
