NX6 and BSP Thread

NX6 and BSP Thread

NX6 and BSP Thread

(OP)
BSP thread is still missing in NX6... Will there be a time when Siemens consider implementing that feature?

RE: NX6 and BSP Thread

is it not the BSTP Type in the threaded hole feature ?

RE: NX6 and BSP Thread

(OP)
It is indeed in the hole feature list but still missing in the function 'thread'...

RE: NX6 and BSP Thread

There are currently NO plans to add British Standard threads to the legacy 'Thread' feature since they are now supported by the newer, and now preferred, 'Threaded Hole' feature.

OK, fine by me, but I am expecting then that one show me how to add a BSP thread at the end of a pipe with the new Threaded Hole feature...

RE: NX6 and BSP Thread

If you wish to extend the thread data file used by the legacy 'Thread' function, please go ahead and do so.  If we had never intended our customers from modifying the data which is used for features like this, we would NOT have made them accessible and/or editiable.
