Permit requirements

I am doing some minor improvements to an  existing wastewater treatment plant in Illinois. Can anyone suggest the permitting agencies that I need to contact? I already know that I have to contact IEPA, and IDNR.

Thanks

RE: Permit requirements

If you are in the metro Chicago area, you will need to work through CMAP.

You will need a building permit in the municipality where the project is located.

You may have to get a permit from the Corp of Engineer if you project is located in a wetland or flood zone. Depending on the location and access to the the facility, you may have to have a permit from IDOT, a county DOT, and maybe a railroad.
