Component Patterns

Component Patterns

(OP)
Hello All,
Regarding patterns of parts within an assembly, is there any way to break parts from the pattern much in the way SolidWorks allows you to disolve the pattern? I see that there is an option 'independent' that can be applied to the elements of the pattern but it does not make the parts fully independent. Is there any way to accomplish this?

RE: Component Patterns

No not really. I would suggest using multiboldy solids, you can pattern them as individual solids then push them into an assembly forming individual parts. Unlike dissolving patterns your parts still maintain their relation to the mater part and the solid pattern.
