Changing date format

Changing date format

Changing date format

(OP)
Hi,

I want to change the date format on my drawings from American (MM/DD/YY) to British (DD/MM/YY) im using Solid Edge V20, any ideas?

Thanks

RE: Changing date format

I think this depends on you computer settings.
For XP go to
Start > Control Panel > Regional & Language Options.
Then on the Regional Options tab make sure you are set to English (United Kingdom) and the Location is set to United Kingdom.
If you click the Customise button you should be able to change any settings that are not correct.
I don't know if this will change any text already placed, or if it only applies to new.

Where would we be without sat-nav?

Thanks for the reply,

Everything is already set to UK and I checked in the customize part too which is also correct.

I thought there would be an option setting within solid edge that im missing somewhere?

RE: Changing date format

idcool,
How is the date text placed on your drawing?
Is it property text, and if so what property are you using?
