Is there a Tube segment setting?

Is there a Tube segment setting?

Is there a Tube segment setting?

(OP)
Hi NX er's

This is just a long shot really as I can't find anything, customer default, but is it possible to change the default setting for tubes from multiple segment to single segment? Our technical illustrators are chewing my bloody ears off about it.

Many thanks in advance. upside down

Best regards

Life shouldn't be measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of times when it's taken away...

RE: Is there a Tube segment setting?

NX 5 does, when you create the tube, there is an option under Settings, for "multiple segments" or "Single segment", it's with the tolerance.

I've found they look better, but can also cause other headaches when single segment.

RE: Is there a Tube segment setting?

I'm not sure that Simon's original question was answered...   No, there's no way to allow you to change the default setting for the 'Multiple' versus 'Single' Segment, however starting with NX 5.0 Dialog Memory will retain what your last setting was, so for all intents and purposes, once you've made the first selection of this option it will now be as if you had changed the default, at least until someone changes it back or you reset Dialog Memory.
