Nozzle pipe and flange material

Nozzle pipe and flange material

Nozzle pipe and flange material

(OP)
What is the minimum material I can use for rating purposes when no material is specified?

I understand that for plate it is SA - 283 - C per API-510 section 7.7

What about nozzle pipes (is it SA-53-B?) and weld neck flanges? and what about if I have LWN forging?

Thanks

RE: Nozzle pipe and flange material

If when you say minimum meaning "least expensive" or "standard CS material",
then LWN will be A-105.
