boiling correlation in flooded case
boiling correlation in flooded case
(OP)
Hello,
I read a lot of threads in the forum concerning boiling correlations.
All of them were absolutely interesting and written by experts, but as a matter of fact not completely useful for what I am looking for.
I have to dimension a so called flooded heat exchanger. With respect to standard heat exchangers, in this case I have not at inlet a mixture of liquid and vapor but liquid only and at outlet a mixture of liquid vapor and not superheated vapor.
I am looking for a suitable boiling correlation for determining convective heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop.
I suppose that, because of different inlet and outlet conditions, traditional correlations can't be utilized.
Can anybody help me ?
Thanks in advance !
