Is there a way to disable the message that pops up when you switch back to modelling, I'm sick of turning it off, and I've never come across a problem with adding modelling features to a sheet matel part..

RE: sheet metal message

Not at the moment, however for NX 8.0, we've added a 'Don't display this message again' toggle which if selected will prevent you from seeing that message in the future, unless of course you go to...

Preferences -> User Interface -> General

...and select the button near the bottom of the dialog labeled Reset "Don't display this message again".

thanks for the reply, Is this setting for the part file only, or for the current session, or for ever in this role?

RE: sheet metal message

Like all other instances of 'Don't display this message again', this is 'forever' or at least until you reset it in Preferences -> User Interface.
