Export solidworks animation into 3d enviroment

Export solidworks animation into 3d enviroment

(OP)
Hello,

I am trying to export the animation I have created in solidworks into a 3d enviroment such as vrml.  I have looked on the web and found a way to do it using simulink and matlab.  It is a pretty involved process for a simple 4 bar mechanism and was wondering if anyone had any better solutions since my model is quite a bit more complex than a four bar mechanism.

Thanks

RE: Export solidworks animation into 3d enviroment

I have saved it as an avi file.  What I am trying to do is incorporate a VRML file into the animation.  In the end this is going to be on a website and what we are trying to accomplish is allowing the user to watch the animation on the site as well as rotate around the object and pan in and out while the animation is in progress.  My boss was saying he made a program to easily incorporate animations into vrml files so I will try using his program later.  Thanks for the help
