Assembly Clearance analasys... NX7.5
Assembly Clearance analasys... NX7.5
(OP)
I've been trying to use this but the reporting it gives back is out of control. It reports the tiniest (.001) in metric units and trying track down the larger ones Im looking for is miserable.
What I would like to do is check for interference greater than .05mm and also be able to do it between assemblies only... Meaning get no reporting on componets within an individual assmebly. Just interference between assemblies.
It seems pretty obvious it can do it... I just dont know how to set it up. The help files have minimus info and I didnt get far at all.
Any advice out there?
TIA
Dave

What you need to do is open one of those options under the 'Assembly Clearance' icon and then hit the F1 key which will take you to the Help files where all of these options and features are explained. Note that these reports can be saved with the model so that if you make changes to your design you can go back ask for only new clearance issues or to look at all of them once more, with having to run the complete analysis again.

Tha help files are scanty reading to me and I'm still unclear on so much of the functionality.
I guess with tons of capability comes tons of switches and options... most of which I have no time to play with.
If I get a chance in the next couple of evenings I'll put together a couple of specific questions I have.
Thanks again
