Gas for pipe pigging
Gas for pipe pigging
(OP)
Hello everyone,
I have been involved in the specification of pig launchers and receivers for a project with two pipelines onshore and this forum has been very helpful to find the way I should do my stuff, so thanks to everyone. Now I have a question.
Can I use the process gas to move the pig through the pipeline? or I should use inert gas like nitrogen to do it?, our pipelines send sourgas in 28" @ 478psig and methane in 3" @ 1000psig.
Thanks!!!
