GRIP versus Journal
GRIP versus Journal
(OP)
After being away from UG for many years, I'm now working for a company that has NX 5. I have written many GRIP programs in the past and I'm wondering if Journal is as robust and powerful as GRIP (we don't have the necessary license for GRIP development at this time). Can someone provide insight into the options?

Check this link to get an idea how powerfull things can be with VB now and quickly get yourself a good book to start with - it's much worth the value both for you and your company:

As for the NX interface styler, I'd recommend you use the Microsoft VB package instead; much more easy to handle all modern visual interface tools.
