12.1 license conflict

12.1 license conflict

12.1 license conflict

(OP)
Hi guys,

I have a problem to instal 12.1 RC2 . After instalation below steps like in ver10:

1) Open the crack directory and edit the ansys.dat file. Change host to your computer
name and 00000000000 to your computer hostid and save the file. Run the keygen.bat
file which will create a license.dat

2) Run setup and install the options you want. Point the browser for the plugins to the
CAD directories when prompted. Install the license server as a single server. When
prompted for a license file point the browser to the license.dat created in step 1.

3) Set the license environment:

ANSYSLMD_LICENSE_FILE = 1055@host (host being your computer name)

4) reboot and finaly enjoy another fine MAGNiTUDE-release!

I receiving license conflict 0430 vs 0929.

How to transform license ver into license application ver?

(I tried to modify license.dat file numbers but still dont work)

Thanks.

RE: 12.1 license conflict

Maybe try dropping a line to Ansys Technical Support. Tell them your name, the city you are located in and your company name.

Detail your problem including details of where you got all the necesssary files, the problems you are facing and what you have already tried to do. This should give them all the necessary details to deal with you.

Failing that, take a visit to your local police station with the same information. I hear they are very good at dealing with software piracy issues.

Good luck.

Is this for real..........?!?
