(OP)
Hello everyone,
I installed workbench 12.1 and solidworks on my new computer.
when I opened a new project and tried to import CAD file , I got a Plug in error: "unable to create plug in perhaps needs registered".

I tried to import solidworks, step, sat and iges files and didn't succeed.

I will appreciate help with that...
thanks,
Moran

RE: Plug in error when importing cad file

I think i had the same problem

I'm a Catia V5 user. I need a plug-in in Ansys to recognize CAtia files, even if a make a STP or IGES from it.

You might need this plug-in

Cheers,
