Checking a Check List
Checking a Check List
(OP)
I made a check list for PWM inverter + motor installations once back in 2004.
The reason I made it is that most manufacturers seem to either make a 20+ page EMC/Bearing Current section in their manuals or put sections of the installation guides all over the manual.
In either case, it is quite seldom that drives are installed according to the book. It is also difficult to find all relevant text parts and my thought was that a check list could be useful.
Please add/remove as you find suitable. I would, of course, be very thankful for well motivated reasons for the additions or deletions.

That's a great help!
I'm getting lined up to commission a few 22,000 horsepower synchronous motors and this gives me a really good starting point to develope our own document.
