Fluid coupling help

Fluid coupling help

Fluid coupling help

(OP)
I'm looking at using a fluid coupling on a reciprocating load. The unit will have a 50hp prime mover thst will go from full load to no load several times a minute. I know the coupler will work on the load side. The part I'm unsure about is what the coupler will do when it's driven by the load. I'm also unclear what length of time I can run my prime mover at idle 900RPM before the coupler will start picking up load. The coupler I'm looking at is a transfluid 13KFBD

Any help will be appreciated

RE: Fluid coupling help

You should really ask the engineers at Kraft Power, it's in their best interest to assist you.

They haven't been available to this point. So, I thought I would see if anyone on here had any experience with these.
