I am running autodesk inventor  professional 2010 . I want to set up a workspace.. can anybody help me setting workspace. Is their a way i can check if we already have a set up for workspace. i am a new inventor  user and trying to help a customer with workspace issue.
Do i need to be on server/network to define a workspace ?

A workspace is simply a folder where your files go.If its on a server or not is up to you and how you plan to use Inventor and if you will have multiple users and if you will be using Vault and many more things.
You need to get real familiar with project files as a start.
There is way to much information to write about in a post here. The manuals and help in Inventor go into enough detail to get you going.. Start reading/learing
