Submodeling in Femap?

Submodeling in Femap?

Submodeling in Femap?

(OP)
Guys,

Is this possible?  Currently, my software is not installed due to PC replacement, so I can't access the help file.

Is submodeling doable, and is it easy?

RE: Submodeling in Femap?

Hi,
I'm currently looking for submodeling too, but I don't think NX Nastran can do that. One should read the displacements at the boundaries of the "coarse" model and apply them manually on the submodel.
I'm reading the documentation of superelement analysis, this seems easy to do with Femap, but I don't know yet if this can be used for submodeling...

Let me know if you discover something :)

Regards,

Simon
