how do I get a reference to a line in a drawingview with API's?

how do I get a reference to a line in a drawingview with API's?

(OP)
Hello!

I am writing a program in visual basic, using INVENTOR API's.
What I've made this far is constructing a part document automatically with values the user has entered in my VB-interface. Then a drawing document is generated with one view of the previous part doc.
What i need to do yet is drawing a line in this view, between two existing ones, and adding a dimension constraint between this line and a point from the drawingview.
But I don't manage to get these lines. Where are they? They aren't in the sheet, in the view, or in a new sketch I add in this view.
I someone knows how I can do this, it will help me a lot.

thank you.
