Standard for compression spring test

Standard for compression spring test

(OP)
Hello to everyone, I'm Italian... sorry for my bad english.
I have to carry out a compression test on some helical springs to determine the load necessary to have a certain displacement. Is there some international standard or norm about this?
Thanks in advance.

Paolo

RE: Standard for compression spring test

The European standard that you want is EN 15800 Cylindrical helical springs made of round wire – Quality specifications for cold coiled compression springs.  The Italian language version is UNI EN 15800.  Section 7 describes the Testing requirements.

Thank you very much... I'll search for this norm.
