Construction Tutorials

(OP)
Does anyone know of any good books or websites that would be helpful to get a handle on the construction process for earthwork, piping, paving, etc?  I have been more of a process guy my entire engineering career but am getting more into some hard core engineering and am looking to ramp up my knowledge on this

RE: Construction Tutorials

Principles and Practices of Commercial Construction by Andres and Smith is a start.  9th edition is the current one, 10th edition comes out in 2011.

There are lots of textbooks of similar ilk that cover each of your topics, some in detail, some in overview.

Try Amazon for general search of such.
