Modeling of a Li-Ion Battery in Abaqus

Modeling of a Li-Ion Battery in Abaqus

(OP)
Hi all,

I want to model a lithium-ion battery using ABAQUS. To represent the battery dynamics I want to construct an equivalent circuit with a parallel connection of a resistor and capacitor element. The resistor will represent the heat resistance across the battery (via electrical conductivity - inverse of resistance) and the capacitor will represent the heat capacity of the battery.

With resistor there is no problem; I will consider it by setting the electrical conductivity of each element as a material property. How about the capacitor? Is there any way to consider it in ABAQUS?

Thanks in advance for kindly helps

Özen
