Does anybody know where I can find the test pressure on the casing of a PN16 butterfly valve?

RE: Test Pressure on PN16 Casing

Hi,

According to EN 593 Metallic butterfly valves the pressure tests for shell strength is EN 12266-1 P10.
EN 12266-1 Industrial valves - Testing of valves states a minimum test pressure of 1.5 times the allowable pressure.

However if your valve is <= DN50 it might not have been individually tested. Only statistical sampling is made.

-> Most likely your valve shell is tested at 24 bar(g).
