Lines on drawings not highlighting

Lines on drawings not highlighting

Lines on drawings not highlighting

(OP)
Hello all,
All of a sudden when adding dimensions on drawings the lines of the part I am dimensioning do not highlight when I hover over them with the cursor and therefor make it very difficult to select them.  Is there a setting somewhere to contol this?

Thanks

RE: Lines on drawings not highlighting

BB,

I suspect you may have a different view set to "Lock View Focus".  If so then all you would have to do is unlock that view.

Hi Updraft,
Will look for that.  Thanks.

RE: Lines on drawings not highlighting

Normally that setting is "Dynamic highlight from graphics view" under Tools->Options, system options tab, display/selection category.

Importing .iges files has a tendency to deselect the "Dynamic highlight from graphics view" setting. Credit to handleman for that tip.
