Reference sets NX6

Reference sets NX6

Reference sets NX6

(OP)
Hi. I looked in the archives and did not see a thread on this. I am on 6 switching from NX3. I change expressions in a part and it messes with the reference sets. I make a "body" reference set for everything, and I have the reference set set to body, but for some reason, a toolbody from a different layer (in the component) is showing up along with my reference set. It is driving me mad!!!

Thanks

RE: Reference sets NX6

Go into
Format > reference set
click on the reference set "Body"
expand "settings"
uncheck "add componenets automatically"

RE: Reference sets NX6

Then to remove any bodies that you don't want from that reference set:
click on the reference "Body"
With you "shift" key depressed select the bodies that you need removed from it

That did it. For whatever reason, from out in the assembly, I have to shift-click the "tool" out of the body reference set, even though the tool is not in the body reference set...

Thanks!
