What is the difference in EH10K, EH12K & EH14K with reference to SAW Filler wire.
can any body elaborate the meaning of each character of above.

These are SAW process solid electrode designations in accordance with SFA 5.17. More specifically, these are high manganese electrode formulations. You should obtain a copy of SFA 5.17 read it to understand electrode chemical composition ranges and associated mechanical properties.

em12k is a basic carbon steel sub-arc wire for non-stress relieved procedures. We stress relieved it for years but now it is not certified (lincoln 860) for PWHT
em14k is a basic carbon steel sub-arc wire for stress relieved procedures (at our shop) & used when impact test are required (at our shop) & used in our arc-wave machines.
this is a simplified explanation.
it's basically a difference in chemistries for required results.
