shear wall design output for spandrel etabs

(OP)
Hi,

i am still new to etabs. i have a problem with shear design data output.

before running the analysis i assigned both the pier and spandrel labels to my shear wall.

after running the analysis etabs won't show me the spandrel analysis it just shows the pier analysis. although when i right click on the shear wall area i could see that both pier and spandrel labels are assigned.

i tried meshing the shear wall area and not meshing it, but the problem still occurring.

i attached a picture of the structure i am analyzing. the shear walls are red in color.

your help is really appreciated.

Regards,
Abdoul

RE: shear wall design output for spandrel etabs

Why do you need pier and spandrel labels at the same time? It appears you are modeling your headers using frame elements.

What is it that you trying to design?
