(OP)
I have a question. Is there a way to put dimensions on a 3d product without using FTA. Our company does not have an FTA license but has asked me to put dimensions, tol. and notes in the 3d product. Can I draw a line between 2 catparts (in the catprod) and then dimension it. i know this is the incorrect way to do it but its all i have. I can however measure between 2 cat parts and keep the measurement active but i would still need to add additional txt to the measurement. thanks

RE: 3d dims in Product

Creek and paddle spring to mind. If this data is bing passed back to an OEM they are not likley to accept it, if all you can do is a combination of geometry, Measures and 3D text annotations.
