Aluminium strain hardening exponent and strength coefficient

Aluminium strain hardening exponent and strength coefficient

(OP)
Hi friends

I've seen that you have many interesting data that I'm working with, so I'll try if you can provide me the information I need.

Does anybody know the strain hardening exponents (n) and the strength coefficient (K) for aluminiums AA1050-H14 and AA5086-H111 ??

I'll be very grateful if somebody can let me know that

thanks

RE: Aluminium strain hardening exponent and strength coefficient

If it were me and I was working with the above materials, I would have tensile tests performed on each material using a metallurgical lab, and have them obtain the results first hand. This is easy enough to do and relatively inexpensive.

RE: Aluminium strain hardening exponent and strength coefficient

I believe to get those values you'd need quite a few tests to get something statistically reliable.
