Slope stabilization using soil mixing

Slope stabilization using soil mixing

(OP)
Hello,

Does anybody have any information or technical references for usage of deep soil mixing to stabilize a landslide ?

We initially proposed to use tiebacks to provide an acceptable factor of safety but other have proposed creating a series of 5 foot diameter soil-cement columns through the rupture surface near the toe of slope.  The columns would be creating by advancing a large drill to the required depth and mixing in cement and building the column from bottom to top.
