Long term deflection in STAAD

(OP)
good day to all of you

Just like the title of this thread, i would like to know can STAAD evaluate a long term deflection of a beam?

thank you very much

Poems are made by fools like me, but only God can make a tree. engineers creates wonderful buildings, but only God can creates wonderful minds

RE: Long term deflection in STAAD

No STAAD can't calculate longterm nonlinear deflection. 3x elastic deflection is agood approximation.

If accurate result is required use ANSYS.
