Part ID Number in Dimension

Part ID Number in Dimension

(OP)
Does anyone know the syntax I need to put on a dimension symbol in an assembly drawing to have a part dimension show that is linked to the part model. I think the syntax would look like this &d401:16

Where the d401 is the dimension symbol and the 16 is the part or feature ID in the assembly. But for some reason I can't get this to work in Pro-E 2001.

RE: Part ID Number in Dimension

Hi,

In assembly mode, go to RELATIONS->SESSION ID->PART->click on the part-> the system will return the SESSION ID number.
