NYLON DRIVE SPROCKET

NYLON DRIVE SPROCKET

(OP)
Greetings gear & pulley gurus,

we have stainless steel
conveyor roller chains
driven by stainless steel
drive sprockets of P.C.D
700 mm.

it is basically a vertical
bucket type vertical elevator
with centre distance between
drive sprockets & driven sprockets
of 3 metres.

it is a very low load application
and low speed; ie load is
less than 400 kilograms,
speed is 1.5 to 3.0 r.p.m.

we want to replace the stainless
steel drive sprockets with NYLON
DRIVE SPROCKETS.

would the NYLON DRIVE SPROCKETS be
compatible for use with the
stainless steel conveyor roler chain.
