pdf insertion

(OP)
Hey everyone,

Is it possible insert a pdf file into a Acad drawing?  And if it is, how?

Much appreciated for your help!

Thanks
Juiec

RE: pdf insertion

This is how I have done it, (not exactly inserting a PDF).

1. Open the pdf document.

2. Capture the image with some screen capture program (Snag-IT from www.techsmith.com works well)

3. Paste into the AutoCAD document.

At time I will take the captured image into a raster to vector conversion program.

RE: pdf insertion

Dear Juice,

You can connect the pdf file to an object in AutoCAD
using the HYPERLINK command.
Just enter the HYPERLINK command and select an object,
a dialog box will be opened and you can select the pdf
file using the "File..." button.
Click OK.

to recall the pdf file select the related object and
right-click. From the context menu select the command
    Hyperlink -> "pdf file name"
The pdf file will be opened.
