How to delete named views from SW models?

How to delete named views from SW models?

How to delete named views from SW models?

(OP)
Hi,

I created a named view in a part model.  For some unknown reasons, this was changed (it was caused by SW, I assume), and is no longer what I wanted.  Is there a way to update this named view (to a new position)?  Is there a way that I can delete this named view and create a new one (same name)?

Thanks,

Alex

RE: How to delete named views from SW models?

Hit the spacebar, click the view, and hit the delete button.  Then you can add it back however you like.

Hi, Dan:

Thanks!  It works.  Why did I know how to press the delete key? (LOL)

So, I deleted the named view, and recreated a new one with the exact same name.  But it did not update some of views on my drawing document.  I am wondering if there is a way to update (correct) the name view.

Best regards,

Alex

P.S.  I tried to give you a star, but Kaspersky Anti-Virus on my computer blocked my attempt.

RE: How to delete named views from SW models?

Alex, I'm also running Kaspersky but have no problems awarding stars ... so Star awarded on your behalf.
