Hello all, first time poster here.

I need to find the static pressure of a closed loop wind tunnel. What equations will I be using to accomplish this?

The tunnel is 24" round ducting which nozzles down to 12" for a short section, then diffuses back to 24".

First look for the definition of "static pressure", it should be close to 0 for working and non working tunnels, unless the tunnel is miles high.

Velocity pressure + static pressure = total pressure.

You will have to have two of these variables to solve for the third.

The tunnel is not built so I have no values to measure. I could calculate velocity pressure but I won't know total pressure.

Velocity pressure is converted to static pressure as it moves.
Total pressure is the same.
