Mass Printing

Mass Printing

Mass Printing

(OP)
It's been a while but I remember that we used to be able to to a mass printing of multiple AutoCAD drawings from Explorer, and I thought we did the same with SolidWorks. Now we can do neither. We're running SP 4.0 2010 on a 64-bit XP OS.

Thanks,
Steve

RE: Mass Printing

Windows Explorer or SW Explorer?

The right mouse click menu doesn't contain the Print command?

Alternative;
Drag and drop the files onto a printer shortcut, or open printer window.

RE: Mass Printing

Using the print command, either right mouse or icon, allows you to print a single document; we need to print the entire contents of a folder.

RE: Mass Printing

The drag and drop and RMB > Print methods, also works for multiple selections ... leastways it does on my machines.

You should also be able to use the Task Scheduler.

I tried it again and found that Right Mouse/Print does work, but only if you DO NOT have a Drawing open; you have to close out of anyting active.

Thanks,
STS

RE: Mass Printing

You can also use a macro or even Batch Process for mass printing.

RE: Mass Printing

I use PAC4SWX which can retain a list of files to print or convert. Very handy.
