Hole Wizard and bored blind holes

Hole Wizard and bored blind holes

Hole Wizard and bored blind holes

(OP)
Maybe I am slow.....no comment required, but I just found a little work around for boring blind holes using hole wizard and eliminating the drill point that would not be there for a bored hole.  Just make the angle 180° and it removes the drill point.

Sometiimes the obvious eludes me :(

Hope this helps someone else.

RE: Hole Wizard and bored blind holes

BB,

In the Hole Wizard the first set of icons has one on the lower right called Legacy Hole.  From there you get a drop-down box for Type which gives you many options.  This might be a better choice for a lot of the situations.

Updraft,
Honestly I have never even selected the "Legacy Hole" option to see what is available.  I will definately check it out.  It is strange that many times I find awesome features that can save me some time and then to find out that the feature has been out for years already.

Thanks,
BB
