Valve (Steam) Standards in Food Industry

Valve (Steam) Standards in Food Industry

Valve (Steam) Standards in Food Industry

(OP)
I'm writing a Brief top line Standard on Valve (Steam) Standards in Food Industry. I need to capture the legal directive that apply plus the associated BSEN standards.  Also the lessons learned Do's and Do not's.
Generic components, with 'shall have' type statements
Plus any generic considerations
Any help with these would be much appreciated.

RE: Valve (Steam) Standards in Food Industry

There are NSF standards which can/may apply for food contact from the working parts of the valve, or for possible condensation carrying contaminants from the valve into the food products.
